Lepus europaeus - European hare
Young leveret in a cage. A towel has been used to form a nest at one end, with hay at the other end. The hay can be changed every second day initially, then every day. The cage and leveret should be kept in a quiet room of the house.

This towel is the same one used from first receiving the leveret; this will give some comfort until the leveret moves into the hay nest.
