The smaller cage (shown here inside the large cage) is suitable for initial accommodation of young Lepus europaeus - European hare leverets which are not yet moving. The larger cage is about 4 x 2 foot and is suitable after the first few days. The cage and leveret should be kept in a quiet room of the house initially, and after the first few days it can be kept in a shed (and out in a run during the day).
