Oryctolagus cuniculus domesticus - Domestic rabbit
Rabbit with a naso-oesophageal tube in place, eating a dandelion. These tubes are useful to provide nutrition to anorectic rabbits until they start eating properly. However, the small diameter of the tube so fibrous material cannot be given. This rabbit has an Elizabethan collar on, which may be useful to ensure the rabbit cannot use its feet to pull the tube out. However, many rabbits are stressed by such a collar.
