Welcome to ThePigSite.com..., This web site is devoted solely to Pigs and their
good health and welfare. Our intention, with your help, is to continually develop the site
as a global hub for information on Pigs, hogs and swine. If the information you're looking
for is not on our site, hopefully we will have a link to a site that does have the
information. To that end, if there is something you can't find (which is probably
plenty at the moment) please let us know so we can do something about it (please
use the "contact us" button at the bottom of the home
page).
We run regularly updated news articles, and also
features which cover topics in greater depth. If you have some news you would like us to
include, simply email it to us and we will do our best to incorporate it into the service.
The core information on the site is extracted from our
three books Managing Pig Health and the Treatment of Disease, Recognising and
Treating Pig Diseases and Recognising and Treating Pig Infertility.
As a visitor you can access basic data in the Quick Disease Guide section, and as a
registered user you can access the more detailed information in the Pig Health database
and also gain benefit from our unique Disease Problem Solver.
The site also includes a Business Directory which we are
continuing to build into a comprehensive database of Companies who supply the global Pig
Industry.
If you run a Company which is not included on the
directory, you can add your details for free, just fill in the appropriate form. There is
also an opportunity to raise the profile of your company by taking one of our upgrade
