Welcome to Great North Eastern Railway (GNER). We're
proud to provide high-speed inter-city train services along Britain's
East Coast main line linking England and Scotland along a route of
almost 1,000 miles. Our trains call at some of the most important
tourism and commercial centres in the UK. With a reputation for high
standards of customer service you'll find travelling with GNER a

GNER is owned by Sea Containers Group who have worldwide experience in
passenger transport, leisure interests and marine container leasing. Sea
Containers was awarded a seven-year franchise in 1996 to operate
inter-city services along Britain's East Coast main line. Since then the
franchise to run services on this route has been extended by a further
two years. |
