Varied Omnivorous Diet (Reptiles)

The practices outlined in this section relate to methods of food presentation that do not require the use of special materials or devices. Scatter feeds, use of specific locations, and methods of ensuring that specific animals receive required medications and dietary supplements are dealt with.

Varied Omnivorous Diet (Reptiles)

Method Omnivorous reptiles are given a wide selection of different foodstuffs, for example, mainly vegetables one day, followed by mice the next, followed by fruit and flowers the next, etc.

Purpose Provide varied and interesting diet.

Con A lot of thought must go into creating more varied diets, so more work is involved.
Improvements Make diet as varied as possible.
