This information has been provided by YPTENC and is supplied in its original format.

YPTENC is a charity which aims to encourage young people's understanding of the environment and the need for sustainability.

We want to give young people- tomorrow's voters, workforce and parents- a real awareness of environmental problems, such as disappearing wildlife, pollution, destruction of habitats, the spread of desertification, climate change, and misuse of the oceans. These issues are dealt with whilst being mindful of the realities of the modern world and the needs and aspirations of the human race. Sustainable development is the key.

YPTENC provides free educational materials for young people, as well as running a number of awards, and free school services.
