| General Description |
Slow growth,
myodystrophy of the legs, poor hatchability and high mortality of young birds;

| Further Information |
- Requirements in ducks appear very low; ducklings usually have sufficient
levels from hatching (B13.46.w1).
- Prevention: Ensure sufficient vitamin B12 in the diet:
minimum requirements for birds 0.009-0.25 mg/kg feed, with suggested level for Pekin ducks
of 0.01mg/kg starter/breeder feed, 0.005mg/kg for grower/finisher diet (B13.46.w1, B16.19.w1, B35.13.w5).
