General Description
  • Contact dermatitis can occur due to repeated exposure to certain chemicals or substrates. 
  • The distribution of the lesions can be useful in identifying the cause.
    • Lesions around the head, face and ears occur due to substances that are distributed in these areas by grooming. 
    • Lesions on the hocks or scrotum are likely to be seen as a contact reaction to the substrate.
