General Description
  • Moniliformin is cardiotoxic
  • Feed contaminated with Fusarium moniliforme var. subglutinans produced ascites, hydropericardium, pallor of myocardium in ducklings.
  • Post mortem findings (histopathology) consisted of multifocal myocardial degeneration and necrosis, and hepatocyte degeneration.
